Will there be a wedding?

No, we will be getting married in September in a small ceremony with our immediate family. This event is an opportunity to celebrate our marriage with friends and extended family.

What is the day’s schedule?

We will be hosting festivities at our house from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The party is outdoor picnic/open house style, so you can come when you’d like and stay for as long as you’d please.

After the main event is over at our house, we’ll head to Sligo in downtown Media for an exclusive after party with drinks and dancing starting at 8 p.m.

What is the dress code?

Think casual garden party. We want the day to feel special, but not at the expense of comfort in a day spent mostly outdoors. We also don’t want it to feel stuffy, so feel free to have some fun with your attire.

What is the parking situation?

Street parking is available around our neighborhood. We also live a 1-2 minute walk away from Cherry Street Park which has plenty of parking.

Are children allowed to attend?

We ask that children under 16 years old do not attend unless they are specifically invited.

What happens if weather is bad?

This will be a rain or shine event. We will send out further communications in the event of a major storm.
